Environmental Policy Statement

It is the policy of Malone Associates Ltd to maintain an Integrated (Quality, Environment Safety and Health) Management System (IMS) that is designed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards and is in pursuit of our core values and primary quality, environment, safety and health management objectives.

We are committed, through our Environmental Policy to:

  • Monitor, measure and benchmark our environmental performance to prevent pollution and set reduction targets with a view to continually improving the performance of our office space and our wider business operations
  • Minimise waste production and promote recycling of waste material, where possible reduce adverse environmental impacts resulting from transport/travel activity related to our business operations
  • Use products in our business operations which minimise adverse environmental impacts and where possible require similar environmental standards from our own suppliers and contractors
  • Ensuring that environmental issues are considered in planning our business and managing our operations
  • Complying with the requirements of environmental legislation and other requirements to which the company subscribes in relation to the Company’s environmental aspects
  • Complying with all environmental management system requirements and continually improving the effectiveness of the Company’s integrated management system
  • Providing the necessary training and support to our staff to ensure that they are able to fulfill these commitments.
  • The company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) Overview provides an overview of our integrated management system (quality, environment, safety and health) and associated procedures.
  • The requirements of the Company’s IMS are mandatory and all company personnel have a responsibility and obligation to its integrity.
  • Malone Associates Ltd continually improves the Company’s activities by establishing and reviewing IMS objectives, which are set on an annual basis, in support of the Company’s business, quality, environmental, and health & safety strategy. Performance in relation to these objectives is reviewed during management reviews of the IMS.
  • This Policy is available to the public upon request and is communicated to all person(s) working for or on behalf of Malone Associates Ltd (as part of induction training) and is available to all employees via the IMS.
  • This Policy is reviewed to ensure its ongoing suitability, as or when there are key changes (e.g. in customer, legislative, operational requirements etc) and annually as a minimum.

Health and Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of Malone Associates Ltd to maintain an Integrated (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) Management System (IMS) that is designed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Standards and is in pursuit of our core values and primary quality, environment and health & safety management objectives.

We recognise that the effective management of health and safety is essential to our continued growth and success, and to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our employees, and any other persons who may be affected by its activities, including contractors, visitors and members of the public.

We are committed, through our Health and Safety Policy, to prevent injury and ill health and to provide and maintain:

  • A safe workplace with safe access and egress.
  • Safe plant, equipment and systems of work.
  • Effective delivery of necessary information, instruction, training and supervision
  • Safe arrangements for use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances.
  • Adequate welfare facilities.
  • To provide adequate resources to ensure the effective management of health, safety and welfare at work.
  • To encourage good communication and cooperation between all levels of management and employees regarding all matters of health, safety and welfare.
  • To assess and control health and safety risks associated with work activities.
  • To ensure competent health and safety assistance.

It is especially the statutory duty of all employees:

  • To take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
  • To co-operate with us in fulfilling our statutory duties, and not interfere with or misuse anything provided specifically in the interest of health and safety.
  • To use correctly and safely any work item provided by Malone Associates Ltd in accordance with information, instruction and training provided.
